After working so much during August, as I’m sure you’ve noticed updating theTechHouse has severely lacked in updates. No however, work is coming to close so I thought it was around time I updated you on the tunes I’ve been liking over the last month or so. Most of them are fairly new, however there are some old ones stuck in there as well that have only come to attention now.
My special mention certainly has to go to Bakermat – Zomer. Its such a feel good summer tune and i love the windpipes and sax sounds. However there is a good chunk of tunes here so I’m sure you can make your own opinions on which you like best! Also watch out for Woody’s remix of ‘Im ready’

Thats why today, when i saw Lou Teti putting all his free download tunes into one album it’d be a great idea to send it out to the masses for everyone else to use.
There really are some great songs in there and its a real pleasure that Lou has decided to hand them out. My personal favorite is; Specialize In Love (Lou Teti vs. Deep&Disco Edit)

Lee Jones – A Perfect Kick

Lee Jones has always been a creative artist, and this new EP is no exeption. The slow moving title track ‘A Perfect Kick’ is smooth and mellow, with the songs getting deeper and heavier as the EP moves forward. I thought the descripti0n from the Watergates ‘Perfect Kick’ soundcloud page would provide a nice indication of the direction of the album.

I normally get quite a few messages off people asking me to post their mixes, and i have to admit i normally flick through the mix without paying much attention to it, that was untill i got a message off Jamie the other day. Its taken me a couple of days to get round to listening properly, however im really glad i have. Its a really bouncy mix, thats got some great flow and tune selection. Throughout theres great mixing of nice vocal along with spoken to word, to create some fantastic dual layered mixes that keep you bopping your head the whole way through.

Giving Modcast a little warmup for the start of festival season, Tensnake kicks off his season with an awesome house mix. Filled with flowing bass and a mix of great vocals and instrumentals the whole mix moulds seamlessly into one beautiful peice of music.

For those who are wanting a slow movement into deep house music i feel this mix by David August is a great way to get you started. It begins with some light hearted remixes and re-works and leaves you with a thudding dance-floor bangers that are bound to keep you out all night
The mix is a great all around mix, and the track selection is fantastic. Make sure to keep an eye out for the ‘With You’ remix as well as the Lana Del Ray remix, both of these remixes are not only great but flow with the mix fantastically

I thought i’d put up just a mix today as i’ve been really enjoying just banging my headphones on and getting lost in the tunes. This is a radio set by Vincent Carrage for breaklondon.co.uk, He’s a french DJ, been making moves in france for a while and now he’s bring his skills to our shores!
Once again, this mix is a bit slower paced than usual but i can’t seem to get away from this funky style at the moment, and by the amount of new tunes im finding it must be making some sort of revival. The selection on this is once again on fire, starting off with a ‘love to love you’ remix it trundles through a soul revival filled with piano, synths and vocals you knew, but you couldnt remember where from, also showcasing what is now my favorite song of the moment, FGD’s remix of Donna Summer. Not only are all the mixes in this real tight, but theres loads of really good vocals added in the interludes to add a proper 70’s vibe to it.
